Toba and Maria
This is us about 12 years ago, Toba and I starting a beautiful friendship when she moved to Ridgewood from UK.
The business idea popped up as we were watching our kids play at Graydon pool. Toba said: “Let’s start a dog walking business!” and here we are … years later… Friendship, Business, Kids, Adventures and all that comes with it!
With her kids being in college in UK, Toba is moving the family back home in October 2019. Heartbroken, I will miss her like crazy.
Building our team of amazing women was the key to our business growth over the years. With the support of this fantastic team of Wag women we will continue to run the business with all the passion for what we love to do the most!
Maria - Owner
Growing up in the country where stray dogs walk freely on the streets I have developed an early love for these animals in need of care and affection.
After years of growing career in accounting and changing to programming, raising two beautiful girls in between I have found true passions unfold when started a dog walking with my friend Toba in 2006.
Knowing that my job makes a difference in so many pet lives as well as "human" makes every work day fun and filled with gratitude for all the trust we are given.
Hi I’m Kim. I live in Glen Rock and have three children. I love spending my free time with animals of all kinds. I always had dogs while growing up and I am continuing that for my children.
I love the fact that my job can help people feel more comfortable knowing their dogs are in safe hands. But I more so love the fact that I get to spend time with so many pets and make them happy!
I am Alissa and I grew up with a firm belief that dogs are equal members of the family. I have two children and a Cavachon named Iggy.
When I’m not busy pouring affection onto them and all the precious babies in the Wag4Tails family, I like to read, travel, sing and watch my kids in all their sports and theater events.
Hi I’m Lisa and this is my sweet dog, Django. I’m the mom of two beautiful daughters and though originally from California, our family has lived in Ridgewood for nearly eight years now.
I’ve been working for Wags for two years and it has enriched my life in so many ways. Taking care of animals brings me so much joy.
